The L2 Network Engineer will integrate ATOS’ Infrastructure Operations Team for the Eurcocontrol contract.
He will be responsible to, maintain the network infrastructure:

1.) Acknowledge, troubleshoot and resolve tickets that are assigned to the team in a correct way.
2.) Escalate incidents internally or to 3rd party partners when required.
3.) Participate, on a punctual basis, on specific projects related to his/her specialty.

The Network Engineer must have good interpersonal skills and must be a team player.
He/She will be based in Eurocontrol premises in Haren and will locally represent Atos vis-à-vis ECTL concerning Atos’ Infrastructure Operations.

Duties:
Maintain the network infrastructure: Incident resolution, Problem resolution;
Troubleshooting, co-ordination with third party suppliers as well as with the central IT department of the customer;
Contingency planning, environment planning, configuration management and other relevant tasks related to the role;
Maintains the relevant documents/manuals describing the network infrastructure;
Provides input for Incidents/Problems/Defects post closure analysis to the Incident/Problem Manager and/or the Technical Team Leader;
Provides input to organize regular knowledge transfer sessions;

Employment and technical Requirements:
At least 2 years’ experience with :
Knowledge of DNSSEC is a nice-to-have
Switching and routing engineer (Cisco Nexus 9k, Catalyst)
Wireless Technologies from cisco 9800 series controller
Firewall Troubleshooting (Checkpoint)
Remote access technologies i.e. Juniper pulse secure
F5 experience on viprion
Multi cloud exposure to AWS, GCP and AZURE, on prem and cloud connectivity
Knowledge of ITIL V3 processes. Good communication skills.

Languages:
English proficient (CEFRL Level: Minimum B2, Ideally C1)

Bachelor or University degree in IT or equivalent by valid professional IT certifications in the domain of the network administration/experience
CISCO CCNP Routing and Switching preferred
Cloud Certification from AWS, GCP or Azure
Hands on experience on VMware NSX-T deployment and troubleshooting
Terraform experience to deploy work load in cloud
Checkpoint FW certification
Routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF
Hands on technologies such as MPLS, SDWAN, SDA, IPSEC VPN, ACI, NXS-T
