Your job as Front-end developer for KPN.com?

In this job you are part of the team which is responsible for the web touchpoint that lead visitors of kpn.com to the right content or functionality in the most efficient way. We do this by offering a stable and feature rich content creation environment for content managers and a platform for integrating web applications.

We innovate, maintain and continuously improve our self. The team is working via the agile/scrum way of working.

As a team member of the kpn.com team you are responsible for:

•    Consumer and business market side of kpn.com and kpn-wholesale.com

•    CI/CD pipeline

•    Creating clean and secure code

•    Maintain and refactor legacy code

•    Refine with the team and stakeholders

•    To come with new initiatives to make kpn.com and kpn-wholesale.com better

How do I become a Frond end developer at KPN?

First of all, you like to develop! You also want to grow in your knowledge every day, you have excellent communications skills (your English is on high level) where others see problems you see solutions. You’re self-employed and also a real team player.

Some other must have’s:

•    Experience with frameworks like AngularJS, Vue, Nuxt.

•    Experience with HTML5, CSS3

•    Experience with Javascript, ECMAScript

•    Experience with GIT & Jenkins

•    An agile mindset with experience in Scrum\Kanban way of working

•    DevOps and AWS understanding

•    Willing to participate in on-call service

Some nice to have’s:

•    Base knowledge of NodeJS

•    Able to read and understand Java

•    Base knowledge of Apache HTTPD and Tomcat

•    Minimal knowledge Gulp

•    Experience with testing like Robot test, Jest, Cypress

•    Experience with Atlassian tools (bitbucket, jira, confluence)

•    Knowledge of web security and accessibility
