Your day to day activities
Your activities will be:
Design and continuously update Hosting to Systems Interface Control Documents (ICDs). Covering o Data cables that are part of the building infrastructure (patch racks to patch racks in racks (=equipment rooms EQT) , and patch racks to working positions or wall/floor boxes in people operations rooms (‘OPS’);
o Deployment of ‘patch’ cables between hosting patch racks and systems racks in EQT rooms and workstations to building infrastructure ports (in OPS rooms) that altogether enable and end-to-end (functionality) o Power cables and related circuits usage and power use (from building hosting to racks power interface box, and workstations) o Systems deployed location floor plans, and racks ‘front’ & back’ components/ports visuals. Create and modify drawings and technical documentation, as inputs to ICD and deployments DCNs Organize, supervise and in some cases, perform installations and dis(installations); o Deploy and label patching cables, patching routing equipment. o Power up/power down circuits, realise connections of power interfaces (cabling of plugs, and power interface boxes). o Support move/changes of false floor tiles needed to support systems/patching deployments. Perform audits of such installation’s configurations and tests; Write statement of works related to the above. Monitor/verify the works of contractors that may deploy systems or such interfaces; Write statement of works related to infrastructure modifications. Control of spares stocks and inventories of the client assets, including Galileo. Provide inputs to configuration management Support in logistics for goods-in / goods-outs of spares and for inventory control, arranging spares movement Support market surveys of potential software enabling the above configuration management.. Contribute to other requests regarding site infrastructure

Location
This WP shall be performed fulltime in the Paris area, during office working hours and days. Potentially, travel to other client sites in other countries are foreseen.
Mandatory requirements:
Personal Screening Certificate at level SECRET at the start EU passport
English language skills
Basic French is desired, not essential
>2 years of installing and handling racks in a professional environment *
Willing to obtain local (French) initial electrical certification;
* Some Electrical activities require to have issued the consultant the relevant certificates of capacity
under the French NF C 15-100. While having such is not a condition to start the services, the
consultant needs to obtain the certificate not later than T0+2 months.
“HO/BO” (needed to access power distribution panel (PDP) rooms)
“BE Manoeuvre” (needed to power up /power down circuit breakers in PDPs.
