Cloud Competence Center (CCC) Azure based
At the Cloud Competence Centre (CCC) of the customer all the Cloud knowledge is centralized. The CCC manages the complete Azure Infrastructure for customer.
It is a mixed team of customer own staff (about 5 people) and Capgemini staff (about 15 people).
The CCC consists of multiple teams with all a different focus on the Azure Platform. For our Feature team (FTT) we are looking for an engineer with development competences. The Feature team is responsible for delivering the Azure Services in the context of the customer; called extensions. A DevOps team can use these extensions to build their Azure solution without worrying whether they meet the constraints of the customer.

To manage our development process the CCC works with Azure DevOps, the extensions made by CCC are published via Azure DevOps as Azure DevOps extensions.

Your Role
As a cloud engineer you need to have a good knowledge of the Azure platform and the core services. You have a mindset to automate everything, and you have experience with deploying Azure resources via a Yaml pipeline. The Azure Cloud changes every day, we are expecting from you that you keep up with these changes.

You develop azure DevOps extensions by investigating Azure services and make a design to create a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). You coordinate the design with the technical domain architect. After approval you implement the MVP with Bicep and PowerShell.

As the FTT manages dozens of extension Life Cycle Management of these extensions is important. New functionality is added, deprecated functionality is removed.

The engineering teams in the CCC work in a DevOps way of work, this means that resolving operational tasks (related to Azure resources) will be part of the job.

The responsibilities of the FTT Engineer are:
- Maintain and develop the CCC Azure DevOps extensions.
o Maintain and develop extensions based on Azure Resources (from storage account to App Service Environment, from Azure resource groups to Azure Open AI)
o Maintain and develop Azure functions for a correct handling of the extensions.
- Support DevOps teams in using the extensions by supporting them in creating Yaml pipelines.
- Support Operations
o Resolve the Operation incidents on the Azure platform.

Competences
- Azure certified one of the following two combinations: AZ 104/AZ 400 or AZ 204/AZ400
- Proven hands-on experience in automation and yaml pipeline deployments is mandatory.
- Proven hands-on experience with PowerShell, Bicep / ARM and Yaml is mandatory.
- Experience working with serverless areas- Example: Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps etc.
- Development experience with C# and .NET core is a surplus.
