In our IT area, which includes Profile, our Account Management System (AMS), we are responsible for processing millions of transactions a day on our customers current accounts, savings, and loans. With over 8 million customers, we hold the records for their balances, accounts, and transaction history. It goes without saying that high availability and performance are crucial for us.

But your work won t just impact our own department – a lot of other departments, such as online banking, mobile, cards, and payments, depend on the work we do here, and a large part of the client and the Netherlands rely on our work, so we take our responsibilities very seriously.

As a DevOps engineer in one of the stream-aligned squads, you will work together with your fellow engineers and contribute towards bringing business critical CoreBank implementations live, making sure maintenance and operational management is fully implemented and risk under control.

With a continuous improvement mindset, you will work on simplifying, innovating, automating and improving the change delivery and maintenance of the whole RAK CoreBank landscape making sure availability, performance and risk topics are well covered.

The CoreBank environment needs to be available 7x24 for our customers. Being part of a scheduled standby shift (occasionally) will be part of your job.

You are able to share your expertise, coach your fellow engineers and help set the standards of the department.

Profile

• Dutch language is required for this role
• Proven track record working as an DevOps Engineer in a complex 7x24 preferably critical banking environment
• Strong learning mindset ready to learn new technologies and pick up new challenging responsibilities

You will be the go-to person and you have hands on experience on competent level with:
• HP NonStop
• Monitoring tools such as ELK, Prometheus & Grafana
• Azure DevOps, Ansible
• Scripting languages like TACL, shell script, phyton or other
• Middleware components (like MQ and API's)
• Functional and performance testing
• You enjoy automating and to come up with solutions in new technologies
• Ops and Risk minded and ready to fulfill a standby role
• You have a getting-things-done mentality
• You speak up, are transparent and not shy to confront somebody
